Today's clients had adorable pets! We love meeting fur babies during our in-home appointments. Did you have fur-babies before or after having your children? One kitty from today reminded me of my cat growing up, Mitzey.
1. I learn about your baby: their daytime schedule, naps, routine, developmental milestones, likes and dislikes. You complete a detailed evaluation so I can get the particulars about your baby. I then create a custom sleep plan tailored to them. An example of one of the questions on the evaluation is: “How do you get your child ready for bed in the evening?”
2. Private Sleep Plan Review: This consultation is 60 minutes and takes place in your home or via phone. It is specific, clear and simple. Hiring me takes away the guesswork involved in sleep training. I will create the plan based on your evaluation and parenting style. I will teach you what to do and what not to do around ALL sleep. We tackle bedtime, night waking’s, early morning risers and naps all together. I use various strategies - there is no “one-size-fits-all” with teaching a baby to sleep well.
3. Support: I support you as you make these changes. For two weeks we will talk via phone and email. Have a question? Email me! If your baby had a nap in the car on the way home from the store and you don’t know what to do next – let’s talk! You wont have to feel alone in this sleep journey.
4. Moving on: After your baby is sleeping well (which should be in under two weeks) you will be given resources to help with any upcoming sleep challenges such as: nap transitions, daylight savings time, teething & sickness, travel tips and more! I continue to provide support as time goes on.
