I was, if you wish, a child of Hespeler in the 1960s. I grew up here. But some of those I knew are dead, many are gone or have changed so much, like Hespeler, that I no longer recognize much of what I remember. But the spirit is still there and I'm proud to have been part of it. I will always be one of the "boys". Hespeler will always be in my heart.

This Village is one of my favourite places to go on a sunny day. You can find parking just about anywhere and find just about anything. Check out the photography studio for some rather unique zombie stuff, the vintage clothing shop, a very large bike shop with an uber small town feel, a wonderful cafe, a very cool music store, a second hand book and record shop with many hidden gems, the list really does go on. Experience it for yourself.

I've lived in Hespeler for almost 10 years and have enjoyed watching the Village area grow and flourish. It is always a pleasure to walk through Hespeler and experience the friendliness of the people who live & work here. I also love visiting the shops & cafes that line Queen Street. Mix that with the river and trails for walking & biking, Hespeler is a great place to live!
