Cool find of the week is this Canadian first edition of Metallica's Master of Puppets on vinyl! Catalog number 96 04391, this rare variant is in NM shape. Having been a cult band before this album's release, Master of Puppets entered the charts at #128 and peaked at #29. It was also the final album to feature bassist Cliff Burton who died in a tour bus accident in September of '86. He was only 24.

t's a big day for new releases tomorrow! New music from Arcade Fire, BADBADNOTGOOD, Alice Cooper, Cage The Elephant, The Fall - Music, Manchester Orchestra and - Prong -. Best art of the week goes to Cage The Elephant for their retro inspired cover art for Unpeeled, while the worst of the bunch goes to legendary post-punk band The Fall. Maybe when you're as prolific as the fall you eventually run out of ideas.

Got old records laying around? Bring them into any Beat Goes On store for cash! We're looking for 60's-2000's rock & roll, hip-hop, blues, good country and good jazz. I know, I know, "Good" is subjective, but basically we're looking for Johnny Cash more than Ronnie Milsap, and Miles Davis more than Glenn Miller. Capisce?
